Services for Mrs. Richardson(Ruth) Howell, 69, Palm Beach, Florida, will be at 10 am Friday in the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home. Private family burial will be in the Fairlawn Mausoleum. Mrs. Howell was the sister of A. E. Staley, Jr and a former resident of Decatur. She died Monday in Miami Beach Florida.

Mrs.Richardson(Ruth) Howell,69, a sister of A.E.Staley, Jr. and a former Decatur resident, died at 3:30 am Monday in the Miami Heart Institute in Miami Beach,Fla. Services for Mrs. Howell will be 10 am Friday in the Dawson & Wikoff chapel. Private family interment will be in Fairlawn Mausoleum. She was living in Palm Beach Fla. at the time of her death. Mrs.Howell is the former Ruth Staley,daughter of Mr. and Mrs.A.E.Staley Sr. Her father founded the A.E.Staley Mfg.Co. She was active in the League of Women Voters in Decatur and won the city and Country Club of Decatur golf championships in 1929. She was born in Baltimore, Md, a daughter of A.E.and Emma Louise Tresssler,Staley Sr. Her son Robert Mueller is a concert pianst now residing in Berkeley,Calif. Also surviving are two sisters,Mrs.Ione Staley of Miami Beach and Mrs. Mary Annan of Lake Forest, one brother preceded her in death. She was married five times to Ebert B. Muller, a director of the Mueller co, Floyd Hunt son of Robert I Hunt of Decatur (now deceased), Dr.Wallace Dundas MacKenzie, James P Nugent and Richardson Howell.
