Biography ==From Palmer Families in America, Volume 1.1, Samuel Palmer of Greenwich 1733-1825 compiled by Michael E. Palmer 2011

Mrs. Ruth Reynolds, widow of Joseph Reynolds, died February 22, 1851, in Scipio, Cayuga Co., N.Y., at the residence of her youngest son, while on a visit, in the 86th year of her age. She was converted in youth, and has lived a consistent Christian life until death. Her last sickness was short and severe, her disease being that of inflammation and ulceration of the lungs. It closed the scene with her in one short week, and although death came sudden, yet she had the victory. She was very calm and composed, felt that she was ready and was well.
