Ruth Fuller was born April 12, 1706 at Mansfield, Conn. the daughter of Sgt. Samuel Fuller, Jr. and Elizabeth Thacher. She was the gr.gr.grandaughter of Edward Fuller and his unnamed wife, who arrived at Plymouth, Mass. on the 1620 Mayflower. Whereas Edward and his wife were not known constituents of Rev. John Robinson's Separatist church at Leiden, Holland, Edward's younger brother Samuel, also a passenger of the Mayflower, was very involved in Robinson's Separatist Church at Leiden and was the Plymouth Colony's first doctor.

Ruth Fuller's mother Elizabeth was the daughter of Rev. Rhodolphus Thacher and Ruth Partridge, Rev. Thacher being one of several interrelated Thachers and Partridges who were prominant Congregational ministers in early New England.

According to the printed Windham town records, Ruth (Fuller) Robinson died on January 9, 1795 but there is no statement of her age at death and no gravestone is recorded in the Hale Connecticut Cemetery database. However, as now proved a major portion of the original Scotland Village Cemetery is not catalogued in the Hale database, including that of Ruth's husband Peter's still standing gravestone. It is otherwise probable that Ruth is interred next to her husband, but without an extant gravestone.

On June 20, 1725 at Windham, Conn. Ruth married Peter Robinson, Jr., the son of Peter Robinson, Sr. and second wife Experience Lumbert. Ruth and Peter had twelve children who all lived to an adult age, but only eleven married and left descendants.
