Rutherford (Ruford) Kidd March 6, 1928-June 20, 2018

Rutherford (Ruford) Kidd, age 90 of Monroe, passed away peacefully June 20, 2018 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.

Rutherford was born March 6th, 1928 in Drift, KY to the late Eurott and Millie Kidd. He married the love of his life Dixie Hamilton on August 12, 1949. Rutherford worked many years and later retired from St. Mary Academy in Monroe, where he was the head of maintenance.

Together Rutherford and Dixie raised 5 children; Roger Dale (Patricia), Sterling (Nancy), Ronald (Vicki), Jimmy (Karen), and Michael (Brenda). Rutherford also leaves to cherish his memory 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and two sisters; Ann (Eddie) Taborski, Beulah Soltman.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-8pm and Monday from 10am until time of Service 1pm at Rupp Funeral Home. Followed by entombment at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
