About Sally Elkan
Sally Elkan immigrated before 1938 to the Netherlands (maybe with his wife Erna.....).
He was placed in a refugee camp Hoek van Holland, Slachthuisweg 4 II, Rotterdam. Source: Digital monument of the Jewish community in the Netherlands ( http://www.joodsmonument.nl/person/544138/nl )
On January 27 1942 he was deported to Westerbork camp. On September 4 1944 he was put on transport to Terezin Concentration camp from where he was sent to Auschwitz on September 29. October 1 1944 he was put to death.
