public profile
Sally Krueger, most recently of Northbrook, IL, passed peacefully of natural causes on Feb. 8 at age 94. Born in Chicago, most of her youth was spent in New Jersey. Professionally, she distinguished herself as a copywriter and creative director at a number of prominent advertising agencies in New York and Philadelphia. An avid reader, her interests included international travel, classical music, and fine art. She is survived by two nephews, Tom Finger of Cedar Grove, NJ, and Jim Finger of Winnetka, IL, as well as a niece-in-law, Mandy Finger, who has been the family member most responsible for facilitating Sally's relocation to Illinois in 2000, as well as being the individual most responsible for assuring Sally's senior years were among the happiest of her life. Other family members close to Sally were grandnieces Dee Bayro-Canady (and her sons Aidan and Dylan), Melinda Nowak (along with her husband Jim; daughter Madison and son Nathan) and Emily Finger.
