Salvador Rojas

“Salvador Elio Roxas, my cousin’s eldest son and a classmate at the Ateneo Municipal of the celebrated jurist, Norberto Romualdez, had to give up his vocation of being a soldier in the land of his birth when his family moved to France. He had been a classmate of Major Enrique Carrion at the Military Academy in Manila directed by the Filipino captain of engineers, Yrureta y Goyena. Once in Paris he enrolled in a military school to continue with his vocation. Years later in 1934, his sister Carmen Roxas de Drufraisseix also visited Manila. - Felix Roxas
