LICHTY, Sam (1921-2011) The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Sunday, March 6, 2011, at the age of 89 years. Son of the late John Lichty and the late Mary (née Nafziger) Lichty. Loving husband of Lillian (née Zehr) Lichty of Monetville. Dear father of Carolyn Begue (John) of Mississippi, Roger Lichty (Rachel) of Lively, Doug Lichty (Joanne) of Ottawa, Janet Rodda (Raymond) of Worthington and Kristine Coulombe (Yves) of Hanmer. Predeceased by his son Keith Daniel. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his seven grandchildren James (Jo-Ann), Sara, Stéphane, Anna, Kimberly, Samuel, Chloe and one great-granddaughter Amelia. Also survived by his sister Selina Zehr (late Jonas) of Milverton. Predeceased by his brothers Lorne, Irvin, John, Noah (Leona of Monetville) and his sister Vera Horst. The family will receive friends in the Calvary Mennonite Church, 15 Mercer Road, Monetville, Ontario, Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00. Thursday, friends may call after 1:00 until funeral time at 2:00 at the Calvary Mennonite Church.
