"Samuel Cook, son of Thaddeus and Sarah Cook, married Mary, daughter of Constant Kirtland of Wallingford. He was a thrifty fanner in the western part of the town. He died Sept. 27, 1824, ae. 66. His widow died March 10, 1839, ae. 82 years.
