The two eldest of his children are recorded in Westford. But he seems to have settled early in Dunstable, in that part which was a matter of dispute as to whether it should be part of Groton or not. He was dismissed from the church in Westford in 1757 and united with the church formed that year in the second parish of Dunstable.
