Samuel married Margarett M. Bills, on July 28, 1853 in Johnson County Indiana. ---------------------------------- Margarett was born Oct. 18, 1834 in Indiana and she died Aug. 4, 1907, in Johnson County Indiana.

1. Zelotes Clifford Dragoo. Born 1854. Died March 11, 1921. Married Sarah Depue. Buried: Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin, Johnson County Indiana.

2. William E. Dragoo. Born about 1856. (He later lived in Wanette, Pottawatomie County Oklahoma in 1921, per his brother Zelote's obituary). (William died between 1921 and 1930).

7. Harriet Catherine "Hap" Dragoo. Born Nov. 25, 1865, in Johnson County Indiana. Died May 14, 1930, in Johnson County Indiana. Married Elijah Robert Coy (son of Samuel Coy and Martha Anderson), on Jan. 1, 1885. Four children (two died in infancy), leaving Nellie Coy and Donald Lavaughn Coy. Buried: Rest Haven Cemetery, in Edinburgh, Johnson County Indiana.

11. Charles Dragoo. Born May 16, 1874. Died Oct. 10, 1874, at the age of 4 months, and 24 days. Buried: Atterbury Cemetery, Johnson County Indiana.

12. Oscar Dragoo. Born about 1876. Married Cora E. Shipp on Oct. 30, 1895. They later lived in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma in 1921 (per his brother Zelotes obituary), in 1930 (per his sister Harriet's obituary), and in 1943 (per his brother Albert's obituary). _________________________________

Note: This Samuel H. Dragoo and his wife Margaret (Bills) Dragoo, should not be confused with a Samuel and Margaret Dragoo, who lived and died in Kansas, and are buried in the Lone Elm Cemetery, in Lone Elm, Anderson County Kansas. "That" Samuel Dragoo was born in Ohio in 1844, and was the son of Benjamin and Elizabeth Dragoo of Brown County Ohio. "That" Samuel and Margaret Dragoo, had only three known children: Charles, Oscar, and Pearl Dragoo. ____________________________________
