It is believed that he was named Lemuel after Lemuel BURK. Samuel and Carrie are both buried at Clinton Oaks Cem Tulsa, Oklahoma at 2200 block W. 43 St just inside the gate to the right. Their daughters Lizzie, Hazel, and Jennie are buried nearby. He owned LAND in Captain Creek Township, Oklahoma.
