Samuel Freeman, 38, of Lumberton, R. 4, died this morning about 1:15 o'clock in the Thompson division of the Robeson County Memorial hospital, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Deep Branch church, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vernon Sampson Freeman; one stepdaughter, Doris Jacobs; and one brother, Arthur Freeman.
