Samuel Gage married Abigail Bond in June 1747 in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Joseph Bond and Sarah Williams, and the widow of Edward Ordway and Robert Emerson. [20]. Records show he married both Abigail (Bond) Gage and Abigail (Emerson) Pattee Gage in 1747. There could be an error in records.

Disambiguation of second wife

Elizabeth Lewis, who married Benjamin Page and then Samuel Gage is NOT the same Elizabeth Lewis that married Samuel Graves in Lynn on Feb. 8, 1708-9.

Elizabeth Lewis' parentage is unknown. She has been confused with Elizabeth (Lewis) Graves (1684-), (this one), who was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, and married Samuel Graves (1684-1752) in 1709 in Lynn.

Elizabeth Lewis first appears in the records when she married Benjamin Page, Jr. (1681-1724) in 1706 in Haverhill, Massachusetts.[1] [2][3][4]
