About Samuel Gore
Samuel Gore was born in 1751 and worked as a house painter in Boston. In addition to his role in the Boston Tea Party, Gore was also the first treasurer of the Massachusetts Charitable Mechanics Association, a Freemason, and a member of St. Andrew’s Lodge. He died in 1831 and is buried at the Granary Burying Ground, Tomb 131.
