Samuel Hamilton

Biography Samuel Hamilton was born in 1718 in Charles County, Maryland. He died before 16 June 1773 when his will was proved in Charles County, Maryland.[1]

HAMILTON, WILLIAM, Charles County, planter. 20 June 1771;10 Feb 1773 To Mr. Hunter and Rools, £60 to be given to the poor of Portobacco and Pomfret Congregation. To brother Patrick Hamilton, ex., Negro man Stevin and Negro woman Sarah. To Leonard Hamilton son of Patrick, part of tract "Green Springs, part of tract Saint Mathis," Negro man Tom and Negro woman Nell. To sister Mary Stourd [Stuart or Steward], Negro man Adam and boy Harry. To Henerato Baggot, Negro Mary, cow, calf, colt, furniture. To brother John Hamilton's children Negro man Jack, Negro boy Peter and Negro girl Cloe. To brother James Hamilton, Negro girl Priss, To brother Patrick son William, Negro boy Abraham. To three brothers Patrick, James and Samuel and my sister Mary and Leonard Hamilton, residue of estate. Wit: Bennet H. Clements; Leonard Green,, Jr.; Archibald Maccoy.
