Located Samuel in the 1830 DeKalb Co., GA Census with Elizabeth and 6 children, as follows:
1 Female 50-60 - Elizabeth (1770-1780) 1 Male 50-60 - Samuel (1770-1780) 2 Males 20-30 - (1800-1810 (believe 1 to be Robert D. Ingram) 1 Female 15-20 - (1810-1815) 1 Male 15-20 - (1810-1815) *Samuel b. 1819* 1 Female 10-15 - (1815-1820) 1 Male 5-10 - (1820-1825)
In 1840 DeKalb Co., GA Census, Samuel is between 70-80 yrs old and Elizabeth, 60-70 age category residing with him, and a male bet. age20-30 (our Samuel I would think as he and Susannah didn't marry until 1842. Important to note, there is also a little boy, age 0-5. Next door is Samuel's son John and wife Martha with their 5 children. 3 daughters0-5; 1 daughter 5-10; and 1 son 0-5. John and his wife are both between20-30. The Robert D. Ingram that I mentioned above could very well be one of their children. He resides just seven abodes from Samuel and Elizabeth.
