Samuel Ellis Kaufman

The funeral of Samuel Kaufman. 72 years old, who died at his home near Dana Friday, was held yesterday afternoon from the Dana Methodist church. Burial was in Helt's Prairie cemetery. Mr. Kaufman was a prominent farmer of the Dana neighborhood and was a member of the K. of P. and Odd Fellows lodge. He is survived by the widow, a son Forrest of Kansas City, and two sisters, Mrs. Emaline Rarnhart and Mrs. Mattie Carter, of Dana.

8. To my beloved son FOREST KAUFMAN real estate in Dana - 262 acres. Land is to be given to my grandson EDWIN F. KAUFMAN at his death. If he dies without leaving any heirs then it is to go to my grandson SAMUEL H. KAUFMAN and his heirs.
9. To my wife EDMONIA P. KAUFMAN real estate in Dana - 110 acres. At her death it is to go to my grandson EDWIN F. KAUFMAN. If he dies without leaving any heirs then it is to go to my grandson SAMUEL H. KAUFMAN.
10. To my granddaughter ANNIE LOUISE KAUFMAN real estate in Dana.
11. To my friend MARY FILLINGER real estate in Dana.
12. All the residue of my property I give to my wife EDMONIA P. KAUFMAN.
13. The bequests I have given to my wife are in lieu of her dower rights.
14. I appoint my wife EDMONIA P. KAUFMAN and my son FOREST KAUFMAN Executors without bond.
