Samuel Maxson Kenyon

Samuel was the son of Roger Kenyon and Esther Maxson. He was married to Eliza Jane Kinkaid on Nov. 15, 1827 by Dr. George Duffield in Carlisle, PA. In 1840, his family was living in Dickinson in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. He had one son under 5 years of age (James Woodburn Kenyon) and four daughters.

Eliza and Samuel Kenyon were living in Dickinson, Pennsylvania in September 1850. Their household consisted of John (12), Mary (22), Jane E (20), Elisabeth (18), Anna (16), Charles (9), James (6), Franklin (2); her mother, Mary Kinkaid, 84, and William Woods (19).

He passed away at the age of 69 years and was buried in Dickinson Presbyterian Church graveyard.
