His will was made February 23, 1761, bequeathing to his wife, his house at Quamphogan; to sons John, Nathaniel, Abraham, Samuel, Ebenezer, and Mary [Stuart] Grant [note: Mary Lord Stuart was a widowed by and remarried a Grant] his daughter, the farm formerly his uncle Tozer’s at Salmon Falls, the site of the garrison house, built by Richard Tozer, Jr., and standing until October, 1885 at South Berwick.
