Samuel McKEE, 77, Argos, died at 6 o'clock this morning at his home following a cerebral hemorrhage. He is a former Fulton county resident.
Mr. McKee was born Aug. 14, 1883, at Bruce Lake, to Virgil and Lydia COSGROVE McKEE. He had resided in the Argos community since 1924, going there from Fulton county. He was married April 15, 1908, at Rochester, to Gertrude BROOKER, who survives. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving along with the widow are three daughters, Mrs. Orval (Helen) FOX, Argos; Mrs. Glenn (Sarah) WOLFE, South Bend; Mrs. Raymond (Kathryn) KOKKO, Glendale, Cal.; one son, Ermal McKEE, Plymouth; two grandsons; one great-grandson; two brothers, Reed McKEE, Plymouth; and Harve McKEE, Hammond, and one sister, Mrs. Retta PAXTON, Plymouth.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Grossman funeral home in Argos with the Rev. Paul HALBERT officiating. Burial will be in the Argos Maple Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.
