He married Sarah Foster, Daughter of Samuel Miles Foster I and Sarah Keyes. Together they had ten known children.
He was a Deacon in his local church and a Farmer.
It is said that he went to Oxford University. He was the rector of King's chapel in Boston. Laid the corner stone of Christ Church in Boston. Third episcopal minister of Kings Chapel 1689-1728. From the Colonial Clergy by Frederic Weis.
