SAMUEL MILEY DIES AT HIS HOME IN BRANDON; OLD RESIDENT TAMPA Samuel A. Miley, aged eighty years, died at his home in Brandon at 8 o'clock Friday night. He came to Tampa from Alabama seventy-two years ago, and lived in this county since that time. He served in the Seminole Indian War and also in the Confederate army during the war between the states. He was married four times and was the father of thirteen children. He is survived by his widow, eight sons and four daughters, all of whom were at his bedside with the exception of two daughters. Mrs. Ruth Branning of New Orleans and Mrs. Casey Fisher of Cuba. Besides the above mentioned relatives there are also three sisters, Mrs. J. J. Barrow of Tampa, Mr. Emily Giddens of Dover and Mrs. F. F. Davis of Harney, and two brothers, M. M. and H. H. Miley, of Lake Thonotosassa. Mr. Miley is said to have more than a hundred more distant relatives in south Florida, and hundreds of friends, particularly among the old settlers. Funeral services will be held today at 8 o'clock from his residence in Brandon, and interment will be made in Thonotosassa cemetery
