"Samuel Rindskopf was a founder of the Mutual Hail Insurance Company, in business from 1870 to 1882 (Swichkow & Gartner, p. 104), and held financial interests in Arkansas mines. (Swichkow & Gartner, p. 103). He petitioned for naturalization on November 20, 1872. From 1877 to 1878, Samuel Rindskopf operated the Blatz Bottling establishment, specializing in bottled export lager beer, at Broadway and Knapp Streets. Swichkow & Gartner. p. 385, n. 54. He died on May 11, 1913, after falling from a car in Chicago, aged 50. (His tombstone at Greenwood Cemetery is nearly illegible; however, his obituary in Milwaukee Sentinel gives the date of death as 5/11/1913.) " Anne Seel Furse The Frisches of Milwaukee
