Samuel / Samu Reiner

Note by Andrew Reiner, 26 November 2019: As the handwriting on the original marriage record of 1862 of his son Samuel is almost impossible to decipher, the place of birth is just as likely to be Csecse as Szucsi - indeed it is more likely as that is where Samuel REINER's father, Samu was born. I am working on the theory that Samuel REINER was the brother of József / Josef / Yosef Aharon Reiner , my GGrandfather, and that, therefore, Samu REINER, father of Samuel, was the father of József / Josef / Yosef Aharon Reiner . This is yet to be confirmed however and is simply a working hypothesis. The naming of my grandfather Samuel - but always referred to in the family as Samu - is consistent with this hypothesis.

The record of death states that Samu REINER was born in Csecse and that his occupation was blacksmith; LDS 642840 Record 16-39. Age is given as 81 and he is said to be married. The cause of death is given as "vegelgyengules", which translates as senile decay or, simply as old age.

This is the link to József / Josef / Yosef Aharon Reiner whom I believe to be Samu's son. This is to be confirmed as at the date of this note, viz 26 November 2019.
