CTGenWeb transcription of Early Connecticut Marriages as found on ancient church records prior to 1800; By: Frederick W. Bailey 1896-1906, gives the marriage of Samuel Standish and Abigail Backus as 21 Sept 1752, and the Barbour Collection gives Abigail's birth as 31 March, 1726. Although these transcriptions might be wrong, taken together, they imply a possible mix-up on these Rootsweb pages of Abigail's birth date and the date of her marriage to Samuel Standish.
