About Samuel O. Stauffer
Samuel O. Stauffer, seventy-one, 906 W. Main St., Ephrata, died at noon Thursday at his home. He suffered a stroke several years ago and was bedfast for two years. Born in Earl Twp., he was a son of the late Martin and Elizabeth Oberholtzer Stauffer, and was a retired farmer. In addition to his wife, the former Susanna Martin, surviving are these sons and daughters: Anna, wife of Melvin Lied, Reamstown; Henry M. Stauffer, Lancaster; Aden M. Stauffer, Akron; and Edna, wife of Harold T. Smith, Ephrata. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and these sisters and brothers: Enos O. Stauffer, Ephrata RD; Aaron O. Stauffer, Denver RD; May, wife of Elmer Herr, Quarryville R1; Lizzie, wife of Harry Adams, Lititz RD; and Mrs. Esther Nisley, New York City, N.Y.
