S. A. Stover, oil field pumper, residing in Mounds, [Oklahoma], died yesterday afternoon [September 18, 1941] in the St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, [Oklahoma] of a complication of diseases. He was 74 years old.

Funeral rites will be held here at the Presbyterian Church Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock with a Bixby undertaking establishment in charge.

He is survived by his widow, Frances; two daughters: Mrs. Fred Washburn of Tulsa, Mrs. Bryan Gardner, Edmond, [Oklahoma]; and a son, J. A. Stover of the home address. Five grandchildren also survive. Two sisters, one brother and three half-brothers also survive. They are Mrs. Myrtle Ray, Butler, Pa., Mrs. Ida McKees, Pittsburgh, Pa., O. P. Stover, former Sapulpan, of Pennsylvania who will attend the funeral, Chan Klingensmith of Sapulpa, Henry and Albert Klingensmith, also of Pennsylvania.
