Samuel Weed, son of John and Deborah (Winsley) Weed of Amesbury, married Bethiah Morgan on March 12, 1676/6. Bethiah, daughter of Robert and Margaret (Norman) Morgan was baptized at Salem, Massachusetts on May 29, 1653. [1] [2]

Samuel Weed of Amesbury wrote his will on September 5, 1717/8, proved, October 1, 1730. In it he names: [3]

sons Daniel and Samuel, my personal goods and estate in Amesbury to be enjoyed between them, if either should die, then the survivor to pay to:
my daughter Elizabeth, L30, besides what she was already given
my daughter Deborah, 20s, besides what she already has received
my daughter Bethiah, 20s, besides what she already has received
my daughter Margaret, 20s, besides what she already has received
my daughter Hannah, 20s, besides what she already has received
