Samuel Weldon, of James City Co., VA, m. 1725, Elizabeth, daughter of Daniel Allen, and widow of Robert Cobbs, of York Co., VA.
He removed to Chesterfield Co., and his will names his children (under age.) Daniel, Benjamin (who received lands in Goochland,) Samuel, Elizabeth and Priscilla, son-in-law Roderick Easley, wife's daughters Sarah Jones and Martha Richardson, and her grandchildren, Allen, Willie and Charlotte Jones.878
