Biography

Samuel Winter was born in Cambridge Farms (which later became Lexington), Massachusetts, on 12 March 1684-5, recorded as the son of Jno. and Hannah Winter. His birth also was recorded in Lexington, Massachusetts, town records, where the entry is marked as having been copied from a Cambridge record.[1]

He was an early settler in Killingly, Connecticut.[2]

2nd generation descendant of James Cutler of Lexington

He passed away in 1756. [3]

Research Notes

An earlier version of this profile identified him as the son of John Winter and Abigail Smith. This was a mistake.
