Born in Sydney, Australia, where she lived for the first 23 years of her life then she moved to London UK in 1975 returning to Sydney in 2011.

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a postgraduate degree in Computing, Mathematics and Design Technology Education and she is a Fellow of the Institution of Analysts and Programmers in London.

A successful computer consultant and business analyst for 30 years, then owned and ran a Care Home for the Elderly, before retraining as a NLP and Hypnotherapy Practitioner and she also edited books in English for an Israeli publisher. Now retired.

A great great grandaughter of Rav Meshilem Feish Lowy, the first Grand Rabbi of Tosh. Through him the family tree can be traced through the mother of her 5x great grandfather Rabbi Shimshon (the Elder) Heller, Rabbi of Stari Bohorodchany (Stari Brodshin) to Rashi who is her 23rd grandfather and then to King David who is her 98th grandfather. She can also trace another line to King David through the father of 5x great grandfather Rabbi Shimshon (the Elder) Heller, Rabbi of Stari Bohorodchany (Stari Brodshin) to the Exilarchs and Kings of Judah.
