Eoin MacNeil came from Scotland with the family of Lachlan Maclean and settled in Washabuck Center. He married Mary "Mhor" (Lachlan) MacLean, Washabuck (see 487) and had a large family: Michael, Angus, Ann, Flora, "Big" Betsy, Theresa, Catherine, a daughter whose name we do not know, and quite likely others who died young. 262

Angus married Christena (Rory "Miller") MacDougall, Big Beach and their family: Hector, Sarah, and Alexander who was brother-in-law of Francis X.S. MacNeil, Iona and father-in-law of Joseph (lain "Ban") MacKinnon, Highland Hill.
