Solomon was born on April 3 1701 in Barnstable. He came to Edgartown around 1720 and was a physician in Edgartown for several years, starting in 1720. "Solomon Bacon ... dispensed draughts, clysters, boluses, pills, and herbs, set fractures, and let blood."
