About Sarah Boyd

Sara Boyd is Odessa Cheeks Johnsons grandmother. Sarah's mother was Keziah Guest and she was born November 1849 in South Carolina as well as her parents. Listed as being illiterate. Also Sarah's age was 18 in 1880 and in 1870 they had her as 12, which was probably an error. She had 15 children of which 3 died in a house fire. The 1900 census indicated that Sarah was married to Robert Hunter and had 5 children of which 4 were still living.(Scuffletown pg269).
