Sarah was born about 1676 in Gravesend, NY, the daughter of William Goulding and Margaret Lake. She passed away in 1701 in Cape May County, NJ.

"Timothy Brandreth m. 2nd, after his move to Cape May Co, Sarah, eldest dau. of William Golding by his first wife Margaret Lake, who was born according to the Gravesend Long Island Town Records, 14th day of 12th month 1676/7. Her father William Golding having been an early whaler in Cape May Co. evidently settled there by 1693 when he purchased his first land. Sarah, d. ca. 1701."[1]
