mm note: Rappahannock County was formed in the year 1833 from Culpeper County. It was named for the Rappahannock River, which makes up the northern border of the county. The county seat is Washington, which honors George Washington, who worked as a surveyor in the area and platted the town in 1749.
Refers to Sarah Buckner daughter of Charles Ellis, who married the grandson of this Anthony Buckner (Charles Ellis married Joyce 2nd)
I have Sarah as the d/o of Charles Ellis because Anthony releases his right to Charles Ellis estate in the following record. he could have only had a right if his wife was a daughter.
