Henry2 Chamberlain, b. About 1619, England. Married Sarah Jones, about 1651, probably Hingham, MA. Died 3 Dec 1678, Hull, MA. She moved to Boston sometime after that and died 16 Dec 1710
Sarah Jones, the daughter of Thomas Jones has sometimes been identified as either William's first or second wife.[citation needed] Sarah Jones was married to William's brother Henry. This error was common enough that the entry for William in Torrey’s New England Marriages Prior to 1700 to call out the mistake: "Chamberlain, William/Henry ( -1678) & ?1wf, 2nd______; (NOT Sarah JONES, Henry Chamberlin)"[1]

In 1661, Henry and his father presented a petition to the General Court on behalf of his brother John, who had been imprisoned for his Quaker beliefs. Henry and his brother William were named as joint executors of their father will dated 8 December 1673 and proved 29 July 1674, in which Henry was called "eldest son."
