About Sarah Ann Dimmick

MRS A. D. DIMMICK DIES UNEXPECTEDLY

Complications Following Measles - An Afflicted Home

This community was greatly shocked Sunday to hear of the death of Mrs A. D. Dimmick at her home near Glenwood. She had been ill with the measles and getting over them nicely when complications set in and she declined rapidly. This is a very sad affair. The mother leaves a family of twelve children, nearly all of them of tender age. Mr. Dimmick has had more than his share of misfortune during the past year. For weeks he was as nearly blinded from hay poisoning and during the past two weeks, his entire family, include his son-in-law, making fourteen in all, have been down with the measles and he alone part of the time attending them. When the circumstances became known however, kind neighbors rendered all the she assistance possible, The empathy of the communities goes out in full to the family.
