Sarah Edwards

William Edwards married three times. Miss Jane Taylor was his first wife, he lost her due to complications of a breach birth, the boy lived. William and Jane also had a stillborn. Secondly, he married on August 5, 1747 in North Carolina to Miss Elizabeth M. Cramer.

Mrs. Sarah (nee Evart) Cantrell was the third wife of William H. Edwards. Sarah and William married circa 1796 in Clairborne County, Tennessee. They had no children. Sarah's death was due to ailments of extended (old) age. She died in her 73rd year.
