In the 1880 census, a widowed Sarah Vaneman was living at 2120 Wallace Street in Philadelphia. Also in her household were daughter Anna/Annie and Annie's husband Lawson Lufkin, an engineer. Annie and Lawson's 14 year old son George was living with them. And Sarah had 4 boarders living in the house.
Interestingly, also living in the house was "the most prolific mid 19th century lithographer of Philadelphia advertising prints," William H. Rease (1818-1893) and his wife Elizabeth.
If anyone in the family ended up with any art or 19th century advertising prints---dig them out!!! William Rease's stuff is worth some money!!!
