Sarah Kleveland

sevices for Mrs Sarah Kleveland 88, who died Tuesday morning at the Askvig-Johnson Nursing home in Eagle Grove, Ia following a long illiness, will be held Badger Lutheran church. burial will in Blossom Hill Cemetery.

Surviving are two sons, Orville of Thor and Jordan of Badger; three grandchildren and four ggrandchildren; four brothers and six sisters; the Rev Herbert Peterson and Edward both of Forest City; twin brohers Harry and Harris both of Kenyon, MN; Mrs Ole Mandsager and Mrs Hannah Johnson both of Eagle Grove; Mrs Gordelia Olson Badger; Mrs Amelia Thorson and Mrs Ed Hanson of Fort Dodge and Mrs Milton Hill, Humboldt.

Sarah Peteson was born in Champaign Ill and moved to Badger with her family at the age of three where she attended the Blossom Hill school. she married Ole Kleveland at Badger. The couple farmed near Badger all there life. Mr Kleveland died in 1953. She contiuned to live on the farm until moving to the nursing home in Eagle Grove in December of 1967.

Mrs Kleveland was an honorary member of the ladies cicle of the and and the WMS.
