It is likely that John Mclntyre came to this parish in the year 1822, when his brother-in-law, Neil McNeil (Michael), came. He settled on that lot of land on Rear Big Beach now owned by Donald M. McNeil. He was married to Mary, daughter of Michael McNeil.
Issue:— Malcolm, Alex, Hector, Peggie, Sarah, Mary, Flora, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Ann.
