After the death of his first wife, John McKinnon (Ur) moved to Benacadie Glen. His second wife was Mary, daughter of Neil McNeil (Big), Shenacadie. Issue: — Mary, Sarah, John, Michael, and Joseph.
Sarah married James McNeil (Rory Beag).

Rory McNeil (Beag) was a son of John McNeil (Archie). He settled at Benacadie and married Elizabeth, daughter of Donald McNeil (Big).
Issue: — Stephen, James, Angus, Mary, Ann, and John.
James (Rory Beag) married Sarah, daughter of John McKinnon (Ur). Issue: —John Rory, John Francis, and John Hector.
• John Rory went to the war and did his bit for king and country.
• John Francis is a seaman. He is married and his home is in Halifax.
