Mrs. Solomon Marx Laid to Rest.

The funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Solomon Marx, whose death occurred in Waukesha, July 21st, were held yesterday morning at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. D. I. Hirsch, of Hudson lane, and were largely attended by sympathizing friends of the family.

Mrs. Marx, nee Miss Sarah Unger, was born July 4th, 1849, and was married to Mr. S. Marx March 17, 1869. Mrs. Marx was in her 66th year, having lived a life full of benevolence and charity, and until two years ago enjoyed perfect health. Since the decline of her health she summered at Waukesha, hoping to improve her physical condition.

The end came July 21st at 11 p.m., while husband and daughter watched beside her couch. Mrs. Marx leaves to mourn her loss the bereaved husband and eight children: Mrs. I. Baer, Mrs. Sidney Levy, Mrs. Walker Glenn, Mrs. Lee Kuhn, Mrs. Henry Haas, Mrs. D. I. Hirsch, Mr. M. H. Marx, Mr. Leon Marx, all of this city; a brother, Mr. Mose Unger of Biloxi, and one sister, Mrs. Sam Livingstone of Macon, Ga.

The services were conducted by Dr. I. Heinberg of Texarkana, who for so many years was the rabbi of Temple Sinai where Mr. and Mrs. Marx and family worshipped.

The floral offerings were beautiful, handsome and in the greatest profusion, many coming from a distance.

The pall bearers were: Messrs. M. Hirsch, I. Kuhn, Hip Marks, R. Haas, A. Arent, Jonas Meyer.
