Sarah Elizabeth (Betsy) Miller

Adam and Elizabeth (Miller) Flora, both of whom were natives of Virginia, the former having been born in 1792, and the latter in 1784. They were united in marriage in the county of Botetourt, on the 6th day of September, 1819, and to them were born four children, three of whom lived to be grown: Amanda (Miller), John W., and Henry, Jr. Adam Flora followed the vocation of a farmer; his death resulted from an injury received from a falling tree. He was the son of John Flora, a native of Germany [sic], and one of the early settlers of the Virginia Colony.
