Sarah Pace

MRS. SARAH BRENTS, wife of John Brents, died at her little cabin home, near Beaver Creek, about three miles was of town, last Friday evening after a lingering illness. She was a hard-working, industrious woman, and was known to a number of Glasgow families for whom she had done sewing and quilting. Her death was indeed a sad one. The only witnesses to it were her half-dozen little children, most of whom are too young to realize that their mother's spirit has taken its eternal flight and that the charities of a world like this are to be their portion and dependence. May God comfort and protect them. Mrs. Brents come to this county from Cumberland, where she has a number of relatives.
