About Sarah Perley
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/174806700/sarah-perley
Note: There is no extant grave marker for Sarah. See note in her husband's memorial for reason she is almost certainly buried here.
Sarah was the daughter of John Osgood and Mary Clement of Andover, Mass. She was married about 1695 to Thomas Perley, the son of Thomas Perley and Lydia Peabody of Boxford, Mass. Sarah and Thomas had eleven children together, all born in Boxford from 1696 to 1719. Following her death in 1724, her husband married the widow Elizabeth (PORTER) Putnam, the mother of General Israel Putnam of Revolutionary War fame.
Thomas:Note: there is no extant grave marker for Thomas here. However, his father, he, and his son Asa all lived in the same house in Boxford. Asa is buried here with a surviving grave stone, and since his father and grandfather lived in the same house, they are almost certainly buried in the same cemetery.
