About Sarah Orinda Railey
Rachel [Hood (Scott)] continued to live in her house near Old Siloam Cemetery until 1884 when a contemporary letter from her daughter[sic] Sally (Scott) Railey to a Railey relative in Texas notes that "Rachel has been very poorly all this winter. She broke up housekeeping and went to stay" (with relatives).
This quote from a Neely Family 1728 project probably actually refers to this Sarah Raily (Scott), who was Rachel's sister (Rachel did not have a daughter Sally who married a Railey).
