There’s no evidence seen supporting a maiden name for Sarah of “Long.”
Sarah Rouse, “ widow,” was living in East Greenwich in Jan. 1755, but died shortly after that date.
About 1701, Sarah married first to Thomas Langford (1.Thomas) [c.1665] Birth: Portsmouth, R.I. 1709 Death: Intestate. He had married first at : Newport R.I. to Comfort [Holderbe?], d.1699.
As a widow, she m.13 Sep.1711, Immanuel Rouse. 20 Jun.1690. He and Jacob Pindar were engaged in ferrying Deputies from Newport, R.I. to Narragansett. 1697-1698.

Thomas Langford and his family moved to East Greenwich, R.I., where he was made Freeman in 1699.
